In a battle between a 12-foot-long python and a 30-pound porcupine, the snake won....at first. Visitors to the Lake Eland Game Reserve in South Africa were speculating on what might be in the snake's bulging belly. When the snake died and rangers performed a necropsy, they found the porcupine. "With all the human interaction, this could have caused stress and the python would then regurgitate the meal up with all the quills causing a problem," said game reserve manager Jennifer Fuller.
